times. At El Paso in the fall, he set a track record for 330 yards; ran second to Miss Bank in
the Sheriff's Posse Stakes ... and then went on to Rillito to defeat Miss Bank by a head at the
same distance (350 yards). He did not win again until the 1947 Speed Trials at Rillito when he
defeated Prissy, Hank H, and others in the 330-yard Speed Stakes in 17.4 seconds and
equaled the world record for that distance. Senor Bill is a very compact horse of excellent
